The next meeting of the Greater Gladstone Civic Association is scheduled for Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., at Lansdowne Borough Hall.
July 4, 2013
Please join the Greater Gladstone Civic Association (GGCA) group and march in the Lansdowne Fourth of July parade. Residents of all ages are welcome. Wear your red, white, and blue finest.
* The parade begins at 9:00 am. The GGCA will meet at 8:30 am with “Groups of Marchers” on East Greenwood Avenue between Highland and Wycombe Avenues; Look for the Gladstone Manor banner.
In addition to marching, volunteers are needed to toss candy with the GGCA during the parade.
Please join the GGCA for a picnic at 4:00 pm, on the Island Parklette, at Walsh and DeForest Roads.
* The GGCA will supply hot roast beef sandwiches, along with all the trimmings, and cold beverages.
* Please round out the meal by bringing a favorite side dish or dessert to share. Residents may wish to bring a lawn chair or a blanket as well.
* R.S.V.P. by Friday, June 28, 2013 to the GGCA Events Committee.
Volunteers are welcome for set up (3:30 pm) and clean up (6:30 pm).

6pm walking tour begins at the Island Parklette (intersection of Gladstone and DeForest)
7:30pm we will return to the Island Parklette for light snacks and beverages
8:30pm culminate the evening with a Christmas in July viewing of the tree lights
The former residents are starting the evening with a picnic in Hoffman Park and have invited interested neighbors to join them. An RSVP is needed for the picnic by July 12, please contact Melissa Englund if you are interested.
